BIOGRAPHY
María de Lourdes Deschamps Briones was a Mexican actress, director and producer, remembered for her participation in soap operas between the 1990s and 2000. She participated in soap operas such as Alondra (1995), María la del Barrio (1995), Sentimientos ajenos ( 1996) and The Price of Your Love (2000), among others. She gained popularity with the television comedy Cero en Conduct (1999-2002), alongside Jaime Ortiz de Pinedo, and Mujer, Casos de la Vida Real (1988-2006) with the leading actress, Silvia Pinal. As a director and screenwriter, she debuted with Villa, itinerary of a passion (2015) and, years later, she was responsible for the film Campeones (2018). Deschamps died on December 28, 2018, in Mexico City. She was married to former soccer player Jesús Ramírez, with whom she had a son.
